- After negotiating a lease on the cemetery in 1992 the Trust works to protect the cemetery from further neglect and promote educational and training projects for residents of north London. The Trust is ever hopeful that it may one day establish a true, working partnership with the London Borough of Hackney who own the cemetery on behalf of the people of Hackney. The Trust is grant-aided by Hackney Council however this funding is tiny, discretionary and there are regular council funding cuts. |
