- Joseph Stiglitz won the 2001 Nobel Price in Economics (I need to research why). I'm reading his book Globalization and Its Discontents, just published last month, and it is DEAD ON - given my past eight years perspective working with Asian Development Bank, World Bank, and USAID. Actuallly I borrowed the book from my son. Another book I borrowed from him which I am reading now is On Writing Well by William Zinsser - excellent, practical, and has had immediate impact on my writing.
