- Friday Kari and I went to see Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers on a very large screen in Silver City Metropolis in Vancouver (Burnaby). The movie is technically very very good. The effects are seamless to an extent I have never seen before. The Gollum character works well almost all the time, the many mountain views are beautiful, and the crowd scenes are convincing.
