Geography of a bed (Apr 04 2003 23:58 GMT) - First it was next to the huge window, Overlooking the city sky, framed at its ends By a money plant and a rubber plant, One you sold and the other you neglected. Close by on the sill were candles, wine bottles and photographs. Some of them had to be turned away and some placed elsewhere. Then it was moved next to the wall, I jumped in first And all night long my back, touching the wall, was cold And my face, touching... |

Radio Comments Redux (Apr 04 2003 23:57 GMT) - I'm still not happy about how Radio handles comments. For me to tell if anyone has left comments on my blog, I have to switch out of "my" view and into the public view. Bummer. Also, yesterday and today the Radio comments engine has been down, causing JavaScript errors on my public page. More bummer. |

There were a thousand things I could have done today (Apr 04 2003 23:55 GMT) - There were a thousand things I could have done today, but all I did was sit at my window and watch the storms move past. Instead of doing my laundry I watched the wind rip the blossoms from the tree across the road forcing it into full green. Instead of cleaning house or reading a book I stood out on the deck to better see, forgetting to close the door behind me, getting everything very wet. If I closed the window and turned my back I could have finished my taxes, or written about war and injustice but all I did was look at the sky and listen to the thunder.... |

PowerBook Rumors (17 and 15inch) (Apr 04 2003 23:55 GMT) - Powerbook revisions... [MacRumors] Now that's a cool rumor. A dual processor 17" powerbook would be sweeeet! Of course actually having the dual proc Powermac, that I already own, actually working would be sweet too. The Apple store has had the thing for over a week, I'm getting a little pissed... |

And those are *Freedom* hoods over their heads, too. *Freedom* water is what we're giving the Umm Qasr mafia to sell to the destitute Iraqis -- your money or your life. Death is *liberating*. |
