Honduran Riot Displays Gangs' Brutality (Apr 07 2003 01:57 GMT) - They have a fanatical devotion to their cause and they dream of bringing their violence to America's streets. GTA:VC Ad (Apr 07 2003 01:55 GMT) - The Grand Theft Auto: Vice City ad that's currently filling up UK TV screens in my demographic is probably the best advert I've ever seen for a computer game. Why is this? Because all of it, the whole thing, is taken from the game. Right at the start with it's pounding 80's music and not half bad for ps2 graphics you know this is a very cool experience. |

(Apr 07 2003 01:44 GMT) - I drove to *6* video stores looking for tape 2 of Six Feet Under today because the DVD has Macrovision protection and won't play through our DVD->VCR->TV combo. Anyhow, every store was out of 6FU! Why they don't stock more than one copy, or why the hell does the DVD need to be protected just blows my mind. Since we do not live in the States (no DMCA) I'm buying a 'video stabilizer' tomorrow. |
