categorySpecificRssFeeds (Apr 08 2003 14:59 GMT) - I frequently check the Python Programmer Weblogs page for an addition to my daily blogging fix. It's a simple but very effective idea: Subscribe an aggregator to a bunch of feeds about a similar topic and publish the results for all to see. I'm one of the more prolific bloggers of the ones listed there, and since I tend to post a whole bunch of entries in a relatively narrow timeframe my stuff often appears in a big lump on the front page of the site. I've been feeling slightly guilty about this, as most of my posts have nothing to do with Python at all. |

Desert Combat 0.3n (Apr 08 2003 14:48 GMT) - Desert Combat 0.3n is out, with some notable additions including a UH-60 Black Hawk, AV8b Harrier, M124D Hind, SU-25 and in keeping with current events, the Iraq team can also be equiped with suicide bombers. For those who haven't tried it, Desert Combat is a Battlefield 1942 that upgrades all the units to modern day. The selection and versatility of the weapons available is impressive. My favourite unit is flying the Apache, although it doesn't sit on the airfield for long, so you got to be pretty close by to rush up and grab it before your team mates do. |
