The agenda is stuffed with ColdFusion and Rich Internet content, with lots of international experts that will present. I've already heard from a few people that they will visit the conference. If you'll be there, feel free to drop me a message or post in the comments section; I'd love to meet all of you during the conference! |

A Framework for SOA. (May 10 2003 23:55 GMT) - CDBI offers this framework for planning SOA implementation, with candidate deliverables for architects, and invite feedback. They've coined the phrase "Business Services Bus" to tie together services into logical sets that reflect the structurea of businesses. Good ideas, but instead of "the logical grouping and design of each bus ensures that there is minimal duplication plus uniformity in naming, ordering, and types of parameters" I'd like to see them focus on more loosely coupled concepts. Specifically, the functions of a department should be express in a set of coarse-grained documents and XML schema. |

Web Site Offers Valuable Free Help to Mutual Fund Investors (May 10 2003 23:54 GMT) - The vast majority of mutual fund investors consistently achieve far poorer results than market averages and tend to make the majority of their purchases, exchanges, and cash outs at just the wrong times. For the last four years, a highly informative web site has tried to help investors avoid these pitfalls. However, unless more people start taking advantage of this valuable free service, the site may be forced to suspend operations. [PRWEB May 10, 2003] |

Sorry to the LJ Users out there (May 10 2003 23:54 GMT) - The process that mirrors my posts to LiveJournal runs on my laptop, which has been offline all weekend. I just realized a moment ago that when I brought it back up on my home network it would suddenly post everything I'd posted since late Thursday night. So, as a result, when I got back online just now all those messages got sent to LJ. Hope you enjoy! |
