- Travel, Technology Lonely Planet | Mobile Services (Now this is a service that makes sense for your mobile phone. My provider keeps trying to get me to "upgrade" but I've never seen the point in having a cellphone that has a camera, and games, and a web browser, etc. Seems like a way to just run up my bill. But if I could bring up something like this -- a mobile travel guide -- when I'm visiting a new city, that would be worth the extra dough. All the info I'd need would be right in my pocket.

Gentoo, Teil 2 (May 19 2003 23:01 GMT)

Caranthir Calmcacil (May 19 2003 23:01 GMT)

blogosphere.us (May 19 2003 23:01 GMT)

We're in Kansas, More (May 19 2003 23:01 GMT)

- As goes Kansas, so goes communities nationwide: Seattle writer Brian Chin shows how a local Kansas cable operator is expanding its cable customer base into Wi-Fi by partnering with the right local businesses, and offering a small flat rate add-on to the cable bill. $9.95 per month gets you unlimited Wi-Fi; makes sense, as many costs involve billing, collection, and marketing.
