WASTE (May 31 2003 01:58 GMT) - WASTE Source Dave's got the source mirrored, so where's the Win32 client? I wonder if the AOL guy who approved the Nullsoft buyout still works there. First gnutella, now this [more]. The only app they've shipped that AOL hasn't pulled is winamp3, which is a bloated pig compared to 2.x. |

Send Iraqis home (May 31 2003 01:51 GMT) - Reuters: Britain, France and Germany asked the United Nations on Friday to speed the return home of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi asylum-seekers in Europe by offering them cash and other incentives, officials said. Many of the 900,000 Iraqi refugees and asylum-seekers live in Iran, Jordan or Syria, but some 225,000 are in Europe. The UNHCR has estimated that 500,000 Iraqis could choose to return home with its help. |
