Farewell Futurama (Aug 10 2003 21:55 GMT) - Futurama's last episode airs tonight and you can add it to the long list of stupid decisions made by Fox. This show would have been a monster hit if they'd just put it after the Simpsons for a Groening block; instead, it's been stuck at 6PM Central, where it gets overlooked almost as often as it is preempted by football. The show has been delayed and delayed so often that their four seasons' worth of content has been spread across five seasons! Here's hoping that maybe there will be a Futurama movie someday. |
