Helpline Comment (22953) (Aug 10 2003 23:50 GMT) - I've been using 98lite for a long time. I never noticed a big difference between win98 and win95 shells speed wise so recently I've just been installing 98 but without IE integrated. There is various other junk you can deselect in the installation to save a little disk space and the trouble of deleting it manually later. If you want a shell that is light on resources go into system.ini and set shell=taskman. |
