A noteable picture (Aug 11 2003 18:45 GMT) - At a book signing Scoble got Hillary Clinton's autograph on a Tablet PC. Here's what he did: "When I showed her my Tablet, it had her picture on it (one that I had taken just minutes before). She signed her own digital picture." This is an example of why I'd like to see an optional camera control toolbar in OneNote. |

It's a very broad phrasing, and could cover a symphony by a dead European, something Native American, Chaucer, something Japanese, ... something that looks to be distinctive from any culture whatsoever. |

How Greece lost its marbles (Aug 11 2003 18:40 GMT) - It's a sad truth that the depredations of war and imperialism have sometimes had positive side effects for art history. Take the Metropolitan Museum's recent "Manet-Velázquez" show, on the influence of 17th-century Spanish painting on 19th-century French art. For most of the 18th century, Spanish artists like Murillo, Zurbaran, and Velázquez were little known outside their homeland. |
