Green Card Lottery (Aug 11 2003 20:58 GMT) - I've been doing some reading on the website of the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration. Turns out that this year's lottery is one for green cards in 2005. So the lottery is two years in advance: that would perfectly fit my time schedule of graduating first and preparing a bit, financially and otherwise. I wonder if I should use this " |

A little bit of everything. (Aug 11 2003 20:56 GMT) - Man, Anatomy of a Shark Bite was so damn cool. Gory and scary and really, really neat. Probably could have been half the length it was, but still enjoyable. I'm pretty sure that I've seen the Nigel Marvin show they were taping when that guy got chomped. I recall Nigel saying in a voiceover, "You should never try this on your own. |

I asked Liz what I should name her yesterday (cats get named on the way home, appliances good enough to get a name usually have to wait at least a week) and she said it reminded her of Dr. |

What's in _My_ Feed, You Ask? (Aug 11 2003 20:55 GMT) - from the strap-on-the-feedbag dept. What's in Your Feed? "The feed contents are up to the publisher of the feed. Many authors only want to include headlines or excerpts and have users visit the publisher's site to read the complete item. This is fine if the headlines or teaser text describes the contents well, but most do not. |
