Court Rejects Compensation for Utah Bombs (Aug 12 2003 23:08 GMT) - A federal appeals court rejected a family's request for government compensation for property the U.S. Army contaminated during World War II and never cleaned up. The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals said the government should have lived up to its obligations long ago, but the two-year statute of limitations had expired. |
