Your Union, Your Future. (Aug 13 2003 00:09 GMT) - My ideal union would have a bi-cameral executive board. The first body would be elected at-large by all members, who could vote either in person or via a secure web site. The second body would be elected by specific sectors of the membership in a manner similar to the US House of Representatives: e.g. |

Sean Floyd Surfaces (Aug 13 2003 00:09 GMT) - This wouldn't the first time the bum has been thrown out. I think Floyd got a good severance package even though he shouldn't have been hired in the first place.... |

The past has shown us that the media the majority of people have access to has been primarily owned and influenced by big conservative corporations. Well, it seems, according to an article from Common Dreams, that the United Auto Workers Union aquired an almost inapt radio network four years ago down in Florida, and they have invested heavily into restructuring and updating the network. Office of opposition leader searched by idiotic police (Aug 13 2003 00:07 GMT) - The Intelligence police (DISIP) went tonight to the office of former Presidential Candidate and current Deputy and leader of the Causa R (Radical Cause) party Andres Velasquez, looking for a "machine to make fake bills". No machine was found and the witnesess signed to that effect. Velasquez said that this was simply a measure to intimidate him as a member of the opposition. Maybe the the "I" in DISIP stands for idiotic, not intelligence. |

Still Fighting The Last Election (Aug 13 2003 00:06 GMT) - Only so much can be learned from the electoral votes of the last election, but the people over at Rush Limbaughtomy are milking it for all it's worth. The country has changed substantially since November of 2000 and none of that is accounted for in the electoral votes of the last election. What's more interesting is this little bit of fiction assuming Al Gore had won:The early exit polls in FLORIDA were correct. Had all the votes counted as intended Gore would be President. |

Great. So now we caught ... (Aug 13 2003 00:05 GMT) - Great. So now we caught some idiot who snuck a missile into the country to sell to the FBI. Demand and Supply. What it proves is that we should let this silly "Homeland Security" group be more effective -- give them enough money to do their job and protect us. Bush The Dimwit, of course, would rather give hundreds of billions of dollars to his vile, filthy-rich cronies than spend a billion or two to make the country safer. |
