La primera consecuencia es, según Santiago Vidal, director médico de Narval Pharma, el laboratorio que los comercializa, que efectos secundarios «como la alteración en los reflejos y en la estabilidad, la visión doble y la somnolencia se reducen también entre un 40% y un 60%, dependiendo del organismo de cada persona». Y la segunda, aunque Vidal no quiere ligar este nuevo producto a la conducción -«ya que si se va a coger el coche lo mejor es no beber»- es que el resultado en un control de alcoholemia también se vería reducido a la mitad de lo que arrojaría la medición de no haber tomado una de estas ampollas.
