It's zen (Sep 30 2003 12:57 GMT) - Last night I posted two new knitting projects I finished over at the knitting blog. It's nice to have something soothing to do after all this house related crap. Speaking of house related crap, I'm no longer feeling stressed out over the seller of my house not wanting to get the certifications and giving us $2K to do them ourselves. Our realtor got in touch with the home inspector who told her it was a good home and only needed minor repairs which would not cost us the full $2K to fix. Today we hit the mortgage company in full force to officially apply for our mortgage. |

It seems that the genetic changes and damage caused by Werner's syndrome, a premature aging condition, are very similar to those caused by normal aging; close enough, in fact, to say that Werner's syndrome is probably an acceleration of the normal aging process. Kodak to stop making slide projectors (Sep 30 2003 12:57 GMT) - Boy does this bring back memories. I think my folks still have the slide projector I remember as a kid. Yes I've sat through many a slide show of strange and wonderful stuff. Of course the lovely and talented lady of the house has had to endure the same treatment from her in-laws.
