What I Did in my Forced Hiatus (Sep 30 2003 15:36 GMT) - Some of you may be wondering what I am have been doing in my Forced hiatus. Ok, no one is really wondering but I'll tell you anyway-) In my Percoset induced haze, I have been able to still do a whole bunch of CLR stuff even though I can't sit at the computer. Man Convicted in 9-11-Era Slaying of Sikh (Sep 30 2003 15:36 GMT) - A man was convicted of murder Tuesday in the slaying of a turbaned, bearded Sikh who prosecutors said was gunned down four days after the Sept. 11 attacks because he was mistaken for an Arab. The jury, which began deliberations late Monday, rejected Frank Silva Roque's insanity claim. Roque, 44, could get the death penalty. |

Personal experience: when my wife was signed to a British record label, we were really excited. In the end, she sold 1000 CDs, lost all rights to her music for 10 years (even though the CD has been out of print for many years), and earned a total of $45 in royalties. the record label that signed her wasn't evil: |
