Astronomers claim dark matter breakthrough (Oct 01 2003 23:59 GMT) - The identity of the Universe's dark matter may finally have been discovered. In what seems to be the most convincing claim for dark matter so far, researchers in England and France say gamma rays coming from the centre of our galaxy show hallmarks of these ghostly particles. Absolutely amazing result, if it is true. |

Linksys Ships VPN Server. Linksys ... (Oct 01 2003 23:57 GMT) - Linksys Ships VPN Server. Linksys ships the WRV54G, which offers up to 50 VPN connections in an office: This $230 device could replace much more expensive equipment for managing VPNs. It handles just the IPsec-over-L2TP method, as far as I can figure out from the extremely detailed user manual. It looks like just the ticket for an office that needs robust security without the complexity of managing a high-end server. |

Wesley Clark - Iraq: What Went Wrong (Oct 01 2003 23:55 GMT) - Interesting. He's certainly going to one to watch. Liberal, reasoning, a veteran and actually a real Democrat instead of the fake ones the Democrats have been using for the last few years. |
