Losers Maybe they're just a ... (Oct 01 2003 15:32 GMT) - Losers Maybe they're just a bunch of losers in wolf clothing. The Bush family gives us no confidence they can be re-elected, a sure sign of loserness. Karl Rove may be about to be fired for the second time for leaking to Robert Novak, and fulfill Joe Wilson's delicious vision of seeing him frog-marched out of the White House in handcuffs. When Rove leaked to Novak in 1992, he was fired by the late Bob Mosbacher, another Texas Republican but one who, despite his cronyism, looks statesmanlike next to Rove, who never saw a dirty trick he didn't like. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel this administration seems to have a death wish? |

Power to the people, no delay (Oct 01 2003 15:30 GMT) - Chuck D: "As an artist representing an 80-year period of black musicianship, I never felt that my copyrights were protected anyway. I've been spending most of my career ducking lawyers, accountants and business executives who have basically been more blasphemous than file sharers and P2P. I trust the consumer more than I trust the people who have been at the helm of these companies." |
