Excellent Clark Interview at Talking Points Memo (Oct 01 2003 17:52 GMT)

- Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo has a great interview with Gen. Clark. I'm still reading through it, but he gives a great response to the questions about his party allegiance: I was fortunate. I was well-enough known that both parties invited me to consider them.

World of Reviews rather than World of Blogs? (Oct 01 2003 17:51 GMT)

- (SOURCE:Marc's Voice)- I think it's more likely that it will be a world of websites with reviews, blogging features, FOAF, and all the technical doodads that us techies like to dream of simplified and made vastly easier to use. Also people will control their own data and not rely on centralized sites. I think owning your writing and multimedia will become more important. Eopinions, and all the photo blog sites hold no appeal to me because I don't own the URL and all the data and they can take it down anytime.

UFCW 1518 Sept 2003 GMM (Oct 01 2003 17:50 GMT)

- Maybe the Local President should be appointed less he becomes management friendly Maybe Jim Pattison could tell Gordon Campbell to tell Brent Mullin to tell some Vice-Chair to tell the E Board whose ass they'll have to kiss next. (Labour relations of the future?) But I'm sure Jimmy's very happy with Brooke and Ivan. (Probably pertified at the thought that they might be replaced) But really, ya gotta love the logic here.
