another dead cyclist. fuck. (Oct 01 2003 17:41 GMT) - Seen on bikepirates, in a post about 2 weeks old:Ken Kifer was killed by a drunk driver last Saturday night. The driver had just gotten out of jail for hours earlier for alcohol and drug-related charges. The driver apparently swerved off the road (passing out at the wheel?), and then swerved back to compensate and hit Ken Kifer head on. |

Bit of an issue [Stephen Booth] (Oct 01 2003 17:41 GMT) - Open access machines to the Internet which cannot be monitored every minute of the day for suitable content and browsing is becoming an issue for us. Ok, I consider putting on content management on each machine but that idea I do not like for various reasons : one of them is having to go round each workstation individually. Websense, someone may say, I say for this particualr environment - overkill. Anyone any ideas to centrally control access? |

At Least 5 Dead in Crash on I-90 in Ill. (Oct 01 2003 17:40 GMT) - A tour bus, at least two tractor-trailers and a pickup truck were involved in a crash Wednesday that killed at least five people on Interstate 90, police said.
