DNC (Oct 01 2003 23:33 GMT) - Someone called me today offering me a chance to win something if I did something. I said "yeah, I'm on the National Do Not Call list, and that started today, so you can be fined." I got the phone number and headed off to the "How to File a Complaint" page at donotcall.gov. Unfortunately, that page doesn't actually tell you how to file a complaint. |

Attack the Messenger (Oct 01 2003 23:31 GMT) - Neil Boortz dissects Rush Limbaugh's 'controversial' comments made about Donavan McNabb: Limbaugh crossed a politically correct line. Only liberals are allowed to bring race into any issue. When liberals mention race it is always a symbol and indication of their undying love for and devotion to all who cannot claim whiteness. When conservatives bring race to the table it is always because they are closet racists and just want to keep their boots on the black man's neck. |

BBC Does the Twist (Oct 01 2003 23:31 GMT) - A few words from Iraq thanks to FrontPage Mag: A mosque in Fallujah blew up this morning while the local imam, a creep named Fahlil (who was one of the biggest local loudmouths that frequently appeared on CNN) was helping a Syrian Hamas member teach eight teenagers how to make belt bombs. Right away the local Feyhadeen propaganda group started wailing that the Americans hit it with a TOW missile (If they had there wouldn't have been any mosque left!) and the usual suspects took to... |

Campaign Theme Songs (Oct 01 2003 23:31 GMT) - I winced mightily when the Clinton campaign chose "Don't Stop" as its theme song, just because I've always considered Fleetwood Mac to be one of the most banal, bland, cottage cheese rock acts ever to get rich and famous and... |

Glad I am not an Ocker... (Oct 01 2003 23:30 GMT) - The Aussie DNS 'space' has be quiet of late, not so the other week, when about every other post to a DNS policy list was 'apologise or I will sue!' type post. Amusing if you not involved, kinda of like a 3 year old having a tantrum in a store... noisy and meaningless and eventually they stop after a lot of embarrassment all round. |

you never got the grit right (Oct 01 2003 23:30 GMT) - (Jerkface) Well, day 3 of getting paid for working. My boss demands output, but he's very much a lead by example kind of boss, which makes me want to work hard. Found out I can actually get more than 20 hours a week, probably will be able to work out 26-28 or so, which will be welcome extra bucks. I'd talk about school, but it's either so theoretical that no one would be interested, or so laugh ... |

Robert Novak on Valerie Plame (Oct 01 2003 23:29 GMT) - Wilson never worked for the CIA, but his wife, Valerie Plame, is an Agency operative on weapons of mass destruction. Two senior administration officials told me Wilson’s wife suggested sending him to Niger to investigate the Italian report. The CIA says its counter-proliferation officials selected Wilson and asked his wife to contact him. “ |
