Feed Parser under Python-License (Oct 02 2003 09:45 GMT) - Seems that I missed this: the feedparser now is under the same license as Python itself. This allows the use of the feedparser in programs without requiring those programs to be under the GPL. This would allow me to use it in the Python Desktop Server without problems. This might be one thing for the next release, go over to the feedparser instead of using my own hacked beast. |

Internationally-known New Orleans-based couturier Harold Clarkedesigns gown for New Orleans Opera premiere (Oct 02 2003 09:44 GMT) - When the curtain opens on the New Orleans Opera Association's world premiere of "Pontalba" October 2, all eyes will be on main character Micaela de Pontalba played by soprano Yali-Marie Williams and her wardrobe. That wardrobe includes a $25,000 silk and lace gown designed by Harold Clarke, a New Orleans resident and internationally known couturier, for the closing scene in which New Orleanians celebrate her gift of the landmark Pontalba buildings facing the city's Jackson Square. Clarke appreciates the magnitude of the design project, and plans to donate the gown to the Louisiana State Museum. "This is history and to be tied into that is going to be great for my children and grandchildren." [PRWEB Oct 2, 2003] |
