Oh, by the way... (Oct 02 2003 12:16 GMT) - North Korea is building more nukes. Vice Foreign Minister Choe Su Hon was asked why, and replied "As we have clearly pointed out, since the United States is now threatening the DPRK with nuclear weapons to launch a preemptive nuclear attack against the DPRK, we have been left with no alternative but to be in possession of the nuclear deterrence". I didn't hear President George say anything about nuking North Korea, did you? Well, Korea could probably lob one at the Aleutian Islands, and maybe even the west coast of the Lower 48. And in this case, I would support sending a few fine fellows over there to fuck them up. |

"Still no sign of land!" (Oct 02 2003 12:16 GMT) - CNN reports that David Kay, the man responsible for finding Iraq's mythical cache of Weapons of Mass Distruction, "is expected to report that Iraq had civilian technology that could have been converted to weapons programs on short notice, and an extensive effort to conceal that capability", but that "he will tell members of Congress on Thursday that his team has not found any banned weapons." Added to the revelation that two years ago, Colin Powell stated that Iraq had no WMD program or capability, and it becomes even clearer that President George simply and plainly lied his way into attacking Iraq. And if WMD weren't the reason, what was? Must have been a typo. He meant to say "Weapons of Mass Distraction". |

Re: RSS problem Using iBlog and .mac (Oct 02 2003 12:15 GMT) - Hal - When I tried to subscribe to the link you posted, I got the following error: Can't subscribe to the channel. The most likely cure is to check the URL in a web browser and see if you can get it to read the feed. The following message probably won't help you figure out what went wrong, but we include it here because it might. "Can't get the address of "language" because the table doesn't have an object with that name. |
