Damned spammers (Oct 02 2003 18:58 GMT) - I am pissed off. I have just spent about 20 minutes going through my blog and eliminating about 45 posts that were made overnight on my blog, and all of them being comments advertising drug retail sites. I have banned the comment spammer, though I suspect this will not affect the future possible spamming. The problem is that in Movable Type comments must be deleted by the post, then the post saved, and then you have to go back to delete the next one. This makes deleting many comments and saving each of those posts so the comment is removed from the published page. |
