The footage was then shown to members of the public on a 4×7m wide-angle screen provoking, according to Mitani, gasps of astonishment. Some viewers even experienced nausea because of the ultra realistic visual effect of speed without the usual physical sensation of movement.Ultra High Definition Video (UHDV), you got to see it to believe it. |

CIA Report by David Kay (Oct 03 2003 20:58 GMT) - An exective summary of David Kay's testimony on WMD search progress so far on the CIA website. Details The big media outlets are reporting variations on "No WMD found in Iraq". Is it another case of under-reporting or mis-reporting? The summary seems to have lots of stuff in there to me. |

GROWING PANIC AND THE NEED TO COOK THE BOOKS (Oct 03 2003 20:56 GMT) - Information Clearing House: "It's possible to argue that it was Saddam's decision to switch from the dollar to the euro in November 2000 that made 'regime change' so important to the US. When Iran threatened to do the same, it was added to the 'axis of evil'. The defence of the dollar is almost as important as oil. US oil deposits are increasingly depleted and by 2025, its oil imports will account for perhaps 70 per cent of total domestic demand. |

Happily, my face didn’t make contact with any volleyballs, which was a marked improvement over the previous outing. My mom is the only person I know who will leave a voice mail to strategize which shows to tape. |

Kill Bill is Coming! (Oct 03 2003 20:55 GMT) - Yippee! Only seven more days until the (US) opening -- here's the official site and here's a CNN article about its British premiere. I'll have to wait for it to arrive on PPV, since I'm too cheap to actually shell out the moolah needed to watch a movie in an actual theater, but a 'whoo-hoo' is nonetheless called for in this case. Hey -- if you're a DirecTV subscriber, Chicago premieres on PPV today. And every Tuesday in October, all PPVs are $2. |
