Surgery Day and My Caring Domme (Phoenix) (Oct 04 2003 04:56 GMT) - This morning we got up early and I did most of my usual morning duties: starting up SlaveCam, making tea, feeding birdie, etc. Unfortunately I didn't get to drink any tea myself, because I'd been fasting since last night in preparation for my surgery this morning. I took a shower and it was off to surgery to fix the torn meniscus in my right knee.I was nervous about going under anasthesia, since I'd managed to avoid that so far in my life. |

High Fees Ground Partnership (Oct 04 2003 04:51 GMT) - TechDirt analyzes email from Wayport stating that its partnership with Concourse for access in La Guardia and Minneapolis-St. Paul collapsed: This is the kind of growing pains one might expect, but it's still surprising. Hunt: Paterno should step down (Oct 04 2003 04:51 GMT) - State College, Pa. - It's sad to see Joe Paterno going out this way. A man of his dignity, integrity and achievement should not be chasing officials across the field in frustration or making excuses for his team's shortcomings. When that happens, when Paterno becomes a caricature of a worn-out and desperate football coach instead of a distinguished icon, it's time for one of the greatest figures in college history to call it a career. For all he has done for Penn State, Paterno should be allowed to leave on his own terms. |
