comment desactiver l'editeur visuel? |

Administration (Oct 06 2003 23:38 GMT) - Bonjour. |

I think the main problem with the PIP... (Oct 06 2003 23:37 GMT) - I think the main problem with the PIPA report is that it calls everything it disagrees with a "misperception". And therefore, media outlets that proffer a different opinion of the facts, aren't just doing that -- they are deceptively causing a "misperception" of reality in their audience.Regardless of how intellectual they try to make it sound, the main points of their argument (Iraq-al Qaeda ties, WMD found) have not been proved or disproved. This is just an attempt at 'scientifically' proving the correctness of one ideology/type of media over another, based on a faulty premise (i.e. |

Tolven Holed Stone (Fieldnotes by pure joy) (Oct 06 2003 23:37 GMT) - The Tolvan - 1st October 2003 Just as cool as expected, although I always manage to build up pictures of places in my head and they are never quite the same. I don't know why but I didn't quite expect the road the cottage is on to be a country lane, or to be next to the rolling countryside. The area is also surprisingly close to the water (The Helford River is barely 1km away). Just in case you didn't know the Tolvan is situated in the back garden of Tolvan Cross Cottage, which is 800m north of ... |

Swarmed (Oct 06 2003 23:35 GMT) - Two traditionally push media, journalism and telemarketing, are feeling the effects of angering smart mobs. MoveOn.org is swarming the New York Post editors over the fact that they're carrying Robert Novak's column after the Plame affair. Dave Barry has mobilized an angry populace against the American Teleservices Association (and other telemarketers) by posting their phone number to his nationally (and electronically) syndicated column. This is the second time he has done this, with the first time overloading the phones at the ATA, and forcing them to change to the second number. |
