- I had a quasiprofound pseudoinsight on 'society today' while listening to some thing on radio 4 at lunchtime. Various people were calling up and saying about how various people should be taxed more, or less, or given more money or drained of every last drop of their wealth or whatever. Anyway, I was struck by the idea that the 'theme' for politics (and 'society'), its grand flawed axiom, is that everyone is basically the same. Everyone wants the same things, has the same basic needs, etc. excepting some quibbles over minor details or ways to go about achieving these things. |

Der 36-jährige Familienvater kam mit einer Rauchvergiftung ins Krankenhaus. Die Feuerwehr löschte, konnte aber zwei auf dem Balkon befindliche Tiere, ein Kaninchen und ein Meerschweinchen, nur noch tot bergen. |
