The Babe is going down! (Oct 08 2003 21:59 GMT) - Hells yeah...The Red Sox fought their way back to win the division series over the A's to set up a meeting with the hated Yanks in the ALCS. I can feel the fear in NYC (even my friend who is a rabid Yankees fan admits it). The game was not without drama (yes, that was me scaring all my friends, jumping up and down the entire game). It was 4-3 in the bottom of the 9th inning with Williamson pitching, giving up two walks with no outs (you have to love our relief pitching), when Little puts Lowe in to get the last three outs. |
