Steam Updates (Oct 10 2003 23:40 GMT) - Another Steam update is coming your way really soon (these changes will have probably taken effect by the time you read this), here's what's changed: Team Fortress Classic: fixed teleporter crash fixed spectator crash Counter-Strike fixed shield not resetting player max speed when dropped fixed being able to throw shield through walls if close enough fixed dropping shield while reloading pistol causing the reload to happen faster fixed case where shield could become invisible to other users fixed typos in de_aztec and de_airstrip map descriptions These updates will go up at around 6:00 pm PDT, and all you need to do to update is exit and restart Steam. |

Yahoo! It's DOOM 3! (Oct 10 2003 23:40 GMT) - Gamesource at Yahoo.com has posted up a preview of DOOM 3 that seems to be a little behind in its information about the game. According to the preview, you won't be able to interact with the surrounding enviroment and Trent Reznors sound files are in the game as well. I think the preview was just written up based on very old information but on the bright side there is a screenshot included that was only seen previously in magazines.
