- I post this, since I am receiving many hits each day from the various pro-Clark blogs and sites that list DeanLand as a Clark-friendly site. Yes, this is a Pro-Clark site. Of the remaining 9 wannabe candidates (should we really consider Sharpton in that group?), Clark is the one who gets the nod from DeanLand. |

Feldmans humorous account of the seminal beginnings of his hatred of the Yanks is at least worth the read for the chuckle effect. And, to a life-long Yankee fan such as I, there is a certain snicker-effect, knowing that the Yanks (guided by the checkbook of their owner) are the winningest team of all. |

- Note: shadows block up unless veiwed at 900 dpi on my screen. I've been interested lately in shooting in light that has real character, like individual artificial lights at night or inside. Plus, I've lately become fond of the shooting with the 21mm at eye level and pointing it down for that wide angle distortion. This was shot inside the lobby of a little hotel in downtown Winter Park FL USA (actually part of metro Orlando) I get more shadow detail out of the print with an Epson 1280 than I can on screen viewing either PSD or JPG file. |

BRIC (Oct 11 2003 01:57 GMT) - The Economist writes about Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC) as the new, rising stars of the world economy, based on a Goldman Sachs study: Today their combined GDP (at market exchange rates) is one-eighth of the output of the G6 (Goldman leaves out Canada, which accounts for only 3% of the G7's GDP) But the study concludes that the total output of the four economies will overtake that of the G6 in less than 40 years. Of today's G6, only America and Japan would then still be among the world's six biggest economies. China is tipped to overtake Germany by 2007, Japan by 2015 and America by 2041. India could overtake Japan by 2032. |

- Beanie Even though I am not Walter, I am trying Firebird on your recomendation. This computer has windows 95 and a Pentium 1 @75Mhz. I usually use Netscape 3 here, but use IE5, when netscape won't go somewhere. This browser fits between them. It is much slower than Netscape, both to load up, and to fetch pages, but I like the amount of viewing space it gives you. |
