- I work for Visa International and one of the areas in which I focus is that of digital content. I don't think so much about creating digital content mind you, but more about how people will consume and pay for digital content as it enters the mainstream. I can't dicuss everything here, but something I'd like to do is ask a question about a theory we have. When we look at how people have traditionally consumed content (physically distributed), they tend to consume it in bundles and return to the same sources. An example is the consumer who buys the same newspaper day after day despite the fact they may have a wide array of choices and on any given day one of those alternative choices may better suit their needs and interests. |
