- Christen and I went to Pizzeria Uno's last night to use up some coupons before they expired. We got a chance to talk about the movie we'd just seen, Intolerable Cruelty -- which, by the way, was pretty good thanks largely to a very funny George Clooney -- and I had a weird vision problem. Anyway, they played a song that I knew -- it was like an early 90's rock-pop number -- and I didn't write down anything about it. I should have, because now I can't remember what it was so I can find it in the iTMS. Sigh. |

- Lemme tell ya, the most fun thing about having a Windows XP computer at home now is running Windows Update almost every freaking day. Not just for the fun of it, mind you -- but because there are actual remote exploits that can cause you harm if you don't have the OS patched. It's so bad that I just figured out how to run Windows Update on a schedule. (Apple could learn a few important lessons from Microsoft's wizards, I think -- I'd love to have a built-in interface for Mac OS X that would help you set up scheduled tasks. And before you mention it, bundling >Cronnix is not the user-friendly answer ... |

That same Monday also marks the start of CTIA Wireless IT and Entertainment Expo. CTIA is serving as the host location for Pocket PC Summit. Steve Hughes and I will both be leaving for Las Vegas on Sunday the 19th. We have quite a busy week to look ahead... |
