(Oct 13 2003 07:58 GMT) - Given my recently-publicized position on the decline of e-mail publishing, I thought it was only proper to offer an informative counter. After a brief IM exchange, Lockergnomie Scott Allen gave me permission to share a recent tip of the week on running your own mailing list (written by David Teten). If you needed a start, or merely a refresher, here's something that can help. If you want more assistance, we still have my book available in PDF. Every week, these entrepreneurs upload useful online business networking articles - and each one flanks a selected "site of the week. |

After taking care of his child (although there were many broken bones, the kid is doing okay), my friend took some pictures of the skid marks with his digital camera, which stores the photos on a 3.5" floppy. "When he looked at them on a Compaq last week, all was fine. |

Phillipe Starck + Oregon Scientific Clocks (Oct 13 2003 07:55 GMT) - I've been on the quest for the ultimate Alarm Clock, yesterday at Harvey Nichols I found it. The problem with most of these try-hard gadgets, is that you can never find one that has everything. It's always a compromise between features and asethetics. The Philippe Starck Multi-Large model has it all. Full weather station, radio-controlled alarm clock (meaning it sets the time/calendar via a radio transmission), AM/FM radio with digital tuning, and a roof time projector. |
