- Hey, no, it turns out the one that's a Manic Street Preachers record is #38. Seriously, I'm getting pretty good results by just typing the names of Britpop bands that never broke in the US into allmusic.com. I don't see an obvious match on the Stereophonics page, but there's #13 under Feeder.

Rawdog 1.5 (Oct 13 2003 23:14 GMT)

- Moof gave me a heads up the other day that a new version of Rawdog was working its way out. Version 1.5 was released today, fixing some timeout problems. I'm still recovering from Foo, so I probably won't upgrade my aggregator for a day or two.

Blockage (Oct 13 2003 23:14 GMT)

- I showed up at school at around 9 o’clock this morning, I already knew the entrances were being blocked (because I was supposed to be blocking too, but I chickened out at the last hour, actually... I didn’t want to get involved in such radical move). Grabbed some friends and made planes for the whole day, including a visit to the movie theatres. We decided to try out the SCP movie theatres that are supposed to be the best in the country (makes sense since they are new), but when we got inside it looked like nobody was expecting us, the place was empty and smelled awfully like paint. Off to another movie multiplex, choose movie, have lunch, grab some coffee and head on to movie theatre to watch “Anger Management”, which I actually enjoyed, probably the first Adam Sandler movie I really liked.

I'm cowboy! (Oct 13 2003 23:14 GMT)

- Due to my position as master superior executive of Alternative Youth I get a lot of press releases, of all kinds, mostly promoting new bands, shows and cultural events, and due to the site’s content and public, mostly it’s underground stuff. It happens that in the last few days I’ve received emails from 4 different people promoting the new Bon Jovi album. When I read the first one I just laughed, by the second one I thought it was just weird. What the hell are these kids thinking? It’s not like they are one of the suckiest bands ever (with the worst haircuts of the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s), but they also need an army of kids promoting their shit.
