I've even seen some of it here. Jay Allen has developed a plugin called MT-Blacklist that provides Movable Type blogs with a spam-blocking system. It's as easy as can be to install and configure it; just upload three files, load the MT-Blacklist app in your browser, select your configuration options, load the blacklist, and you're done. |

Child Welfare Agency Steps Up Service Through Automation with Compuware (Oct 14 2003 04:07 GMT) - Montgomery County Children Services needed to track reported cases of child abuse more efficiently, so caseworkers could spend less time at the office and more time helping families. Automating the agency's manual process of documenting case information, however, meant developing a web-based system from scratch, a project too large for the agency's eight-person IT team. Several recommendations from other Ohio child welfare agencies led MCCS to Compuware. Compuware built a web-accessible case management system using Microsoft .NET that streamlined processes, eliminating time-consuming manual steps. |

Sun, Fun and Quality Web Development: Compuware Gets Swimsuit Site Into Shape (Oct 14 2003 04:07 GMT) - Maillot Baltex, the third-largest manufacturer of women's swimsuits in North America, wanted to create a web presence to market its swimwear lines to customers and retailers. Maillot Baltex originally chose a major advertising company to design and implement the sites. In one year, the web sites were complete - but they were not as interactive as Maillot Baltex had hoped, they couldn't easily be expanded, and the project came in well over budget. Maillot Baltex chose Compuware's NearShore Development Center to redesign its web sites. Now fully scalable to accommodate expansion, the web sites also give customers, retailers and media quick access to product descriptions, store locations and an interactive, virtual fashion show. |
