Motorola TV (Oct 14 2003 15:39 GMT) - Your next TV might be a Motorola. The company, which is best known for its cellphones and two-way radios, is going to follow the lead of Gateway, Dell, and HP, and enter the flat-screen TV business. The article doesn't say whether these will be plasma or LCD TVs, but they're also going to start selling computer monitors and DVD players as well. Read UPDATE: One reader wrote in to remind us of Motorola's Nano Emissive Display technology for flat-screen TVs, which we posted about here on Gizmodo back in July. |
