Licka-licka-licka-licka (Oct 14 2003 23:45 GMT) - Dear Puss, It tickles horribly when you lick my sock, even if I have provoked you by dripping garlic butter on it. Also, I'm aware that I'm eating my rolls smothered in garlic butter from one of "your" saucers -- those saucers, my fine-feathered friend, do not necessarily mean that the contents are belong to you. I'm glad you do appreciate good cooking, though. Love, Mom |

It Isn't Atkins (Oct 14 2003 23:45 GMT) - About a year ago, I had blood tests done by my family doctor, and though there was nothing bad in the results, I've decided recently to take some modest pre-emptive action with regard to my diet. I'm not on a diet per se, but in regard to my eating habits, I'm trying to reduce some unnecessary sources of excess sugar and fat. For example, I'm trying to decrease my consumption of cola beverages and drink diet colas rather than regular when I do drink a Pepsi or Coke. I'm trying to use low-sugar or sugar free items like pancake syrup, ice cream toppings, and such. I've bought Egg Beaters to cut some cholesterol, and I'm eating fat-free or low fat frozen yogurt or "light" ice cream. |
