VeriSign Plans To Bring Back SiteFinder (Oct 16 2003 16:42 GMT) - VeriSign has said that the supposedly "independent" panel that they put together themselves sees no problem with SiteFinder, and therefore, there's really no reason not to turn it back on. Obviously, the panel that they put together (they wouldn't be biased in who they picked, would they?) knows a lot more than all of the internet luminaries pointing out the problems with SiteFinder. The Blair Dossier (Oct 16 2003 16:41 GMT) - THE "IRAQ was an imminent threat" argument has got a decent run on this blog on a couple of occasions (reprised most recently in an email exchange I had with a staffer for 2004 US Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich). I have always been of the opinion that the imminent threat line was conjured post facto by people who were always opponents of the war to put pressure on the coalition leaders. Now, helpfully, Tim Blair... |
