At what point do the thanks stop? [Paul Elkins] (Oct 17 2003 14:59 GMT) - I think that ecademy is great. I really do, but I am concerned about all this pay it forward and never leaving an email unanswered. For example I just received an email thanking me for a small favour. Do I email back and thank them for thanking me? If I do that, will they thank me for that? |

With this in mind, users include several major investment banks, some airlines, several big software companies, space agencies, a lot of universities around the world, some health care and life science companies, information technology companies, governement agencies, defence contractors and military agencies, insurence companies, several energy companies, consulters and diversified industrials and of course a lot of private users. |

Treo bliss (Oct 17 2003 14:59 GMT) - I just used my Treo 600 as an MP3 player for the first time, while taking my son on a walk. Got a 512 meg SD card for $156, plus the PocketTunes application, and I'm groovin'. It's not an iPod, but 100 songs in your pocket ain't bad when the same device is also your phone, organizer, camera, and wireless email tool. |

Work on that Image (Oct 17 2003 14:58 GMT) - In a sign that at least some Democrats see their current positions on major issues as being outside the mainstream, some moderates are trying to improve their image: Two moderate Democrat senators are leading an effort to improve the Democratic Party's image among churchgoers and gun owners with the hopes of recapturing Congress and the White House next year.
