You like me, you really really like me. (Oct 17 2003 14:24 GMT) - I have to love when normal everyday people are getting their fifteen minutes by being interviewed on tv. Especially the Today Show. We are about to make a leap similar to that occurred with advent of literacy because of our understanding of genetic information. Longpot Head (Fieldnotes by BlueGloves) (Oct 17 2003 14:23 GMT) - This 40 metre diameter stone circle appeared after the heather was overburnt. It has spectacular views of Northumbrian mountains to the north and Cumbrian mountains to the south. Two thirds of the circle remain with half a dozen medium-sized boulders in place and a few depressions showing where stones have been pulled. The north-south line passes through the centre of the circle and is marked by Proudy Hill to the north and a broken currick to the south. I spent an hour with a sharp knife paring the ... |
