Ich finde es nämlich etwas befremdlich, wie du im Oktober plötzlich für rund 44,51% aller Hits auf meine Seiten verantwortlich bist, du ziehst mir ein klitzekleines bischen zu viel Traffic... Nichts für ungut, ich könnte natürlich auch einfach Zugriffe verbieten, die als Useragent Desktop Sidebar v1, 03, 42, 0 angeben, aber vielleicht kriegst du deine Updatehäufigkeit ja auch einfach mal auf ein erträgliches Mass heruntergeschraubt...? Andererseits ist es natürlich auch mal ganz lustig, wenn der IE nur noch auf Platz 2 bei den UserAgents - Hitsgelistet wird, und das, obwohl er vermutlich von etwas mehr Leuten verwendet wurde... |

Brazil (Oct 18 2003 23:14 GMT) - For several weeks now, a couple of people have been working like crazy in our house, mostly drilling holes and breaking out bricks. A couple of months ago, we were told that they would be replacing the water pipes, but oddly enough they started by removing all sorts of electric wiring. At the moment it's quite unclear what they doing, but evidence seems to mount that at some point I might be finding myself in a house modeled after some version of Brazil. Just have a look at the evidence below, and you'll see what I mean. This is rather disquieting, I tell you. |

- Ich habe mich diesmal nicht für ein Update entschlossen, sondern für eine komplette Neueinrichtung meines Rechners (Daten wurden aber vorher gesichert auf einen anderen PC). Ich wollte mal LVM (Logical Volume Manager) ausprobieren und bin begeistert. Aus meinen zwei mit jeweils 40GB Festplatten wurde sozusagen eine grosse 80GB Platte, die aus mehreren Partitionen besteht, die ich jetzt nach Lust und Laune im laufenden Betrieb vergrössern oder verkleinern kann, hoffentlich ohne Datenverlust ;) Soweit scheint alles gut zu laufen, nur ich bin noch nicht fertig, habe schliesslich erst gestern Abend damit begonnen, das System neu einzurichten. Dauert also noch ein paar Tage bis wieder alles so ist, wie ich mir das so vorstelle. |
