- Congratulations to my new brother-in-law, Chris Brandenburg, on marrying into Vivian's family via her sister-in-law Vina. The bride was beautiful, the groom was handsome and the party was above average. I took a few photos and my only complaint is that her family lives far enough away that we don't see them often enough--that and a few of the more overused, cliched songs (*cough* Always and Forever *cough*) the otherwise decent DJ used. Have a great honeymoon in Hawaii! |

Bugs (Oct 19 2003 21:52 GMT) - The Asian lady beetles are so thick around here, you can’t even go outside without being swarmed by them. They get in the house when you open the door to come inside. mo2blog (Oct 19 2003 21:52 GMT) - The arrival of my T610 today has gotten me into a coding frenzy, adding moblogging features to this weblog. There are a few scripts out there, doing this already, most notably Joi Ito's mail2entry, which - if I am not mistaken - does not do images (that'd be hackable in a few minutes, though). I've mailed/SMSed a few images to a test-weblog, and it worked. Some additional features, such as rotating the image on arrival (simply say "rotate: 90" in the body of your message) are tested currently, and a combination of ImageMagick and picSense clean up the image, sharpen it, adjust levels, and create a thumbnail. |
