Strong bad emails (Oct 20 2003 23:37 GMT) - I spotted a link to StrongBad emails on gregorlove's blog. After viewing about 4-5 of the "emails" I just couldn't define them, but they are funny. |

Music Bites (Oct 20 2003 23:36 GMT) - I'm gonna take a stab at creating a regular feature. Music Bites is a series of quick takes on music-related things I have an opinion on. Kinda like Larry King's old USA Today column. Feedback, along with your own opinions, is strongly encouraged. -Sheryl Crow's First Cut Is The Deepest remake. |

Holoholo: The Adventures Continue (Oct 20 2003 23:34 GMT) - [Note: Last night I sent 5 separate emails to each person on the Venom & Blight mailing list, and every one came back as "non-deliverable" today, which I take to mean that my POP3 servers are still screwed. My host is working on it, and Venomous Hubby is tackling it from our end, too. Meanwhile, here are some of the pictures tame - and modest - enough to circulate in public.] Ever have so much fun in the span of 7 short days that you need a vacation to recover from your vacation? |

Tip O'Neill and the Democratic Century (Oct 20 2003 23:32 GMT) - John A. Farrell: Tip O'Neill and the Democratic CenturyPerhaps someone can buy this for Governor Mitt Romney so he stops referring to O'Neill as just another politician. Romney should pray that people remember him as half the man that Tip O'Neill was for Massachusetts and the nation. Follow the link to see the review by our friend Lou Mandarini. |

Fair Ball: A Fan's Case for Baseball (Oct 20 2003 23:32 GMT) - I dont hate the Yankees. They manage their franchise well. Im just tired of seeing them go deep into the postseason most every year and amazed that Major League Baseball has allowed the economic imbalance between the teams to affect the game as much as it has. (A great and easy-to-read book on this is Fair Ball: A Fans Case for Baseball, by NBC sportscaster Bob Costas. |

Black Mischief (Oct 20 2003 23:32 GMT) - And goes on to discuss the merits of this wonderful novel. We meet again, the infamous Basil Seal, whom I think is one of the greatest comic creations in all literature. Basil was first introduced in Waugh's Black Mischief, and continues here to repel and delight simultaneously...If you are familiar with Waugh, or, have never read him, this novel is a good choice to acquaint or reacquaint yourself with this wickedly funny writer. |
