- Gary and I had a fun time shooting in the old city of Mesilla,NM where a lot of the history of the old American west seems to have happend(Billy the Kid ,etc) Gary shot b&w and basically I shot color(Provia 100f). We were both drawn to the weathered boards of these old buildings as well as the original adobe brick walls and rusted iron. The slides I took with my 28MM and provia are absolutely breathtaking when considering resolution and saturation. My mediocre scanner cannot even begin to capture the detail. This image and several more are destined to be digi' scanned on a drum scanner and get printed up to proper size. |
