Re: Today's entry not displaying (Oct 23 2003 10:59 GMT) - Well, it's definitely not working. I'm not seeing any errors in the events log and I did follow your advice and re-post yesterday's with a couple small changes. I also wrote a post for today and it's not going up. But I see other blogs are updating. What now? |

Atom as the New XML-Based Web Publishing and Syndication Format (Oct 23 2003 10:59 GMT) - The Atom Project is described by its developer community as an initiative to develop a common syntax for syndication, archiving, and publishing. Atom's core features improve upon RSS but are common to intellectual works: source/author, editing date(s), resource identifier/location, and content (text or binary). The Atom publishing model uses XML format and simple HTTP methods (POST, GET) to implement search (auto-discovery) and publish operations. |

iTunes worse than Crack? (Oct 23 2003 10:58 GMT) - Matthew writes: Apple computer’s new iTunes service, which allows consumers to easily purchase individual songs online, is igniting controversy as some psychologists claim that it is yet another destructive temptation for those with addiction problems or obsessive-compulsive disorders. “They’ve made spending a buck online so easy that it can easily become compulsive.” Says Dr. Egon Trada, an addiction specialist. |

Quelle aubaine ! |

Aaron's Steak Rating Charts (Oct 23 2003 10:55 GMT) - Flavor, Tenderness, Greasiness The goal of this chart is to allow comparisons between steakhouses, and give you a gauge on what the best and worst situations are. You can cook a steak that would be a -5/5 in every category, but we're only rating edible-by-choice candidates. Flavor - flavor is very important. You want the taste of steak on your tongue to be smooth and a little salty. This ties in directly with the juiciness. |
