New 20 (Oct 25 2003 23:11 GMT) - Maybe because they were bored with the old 20, maybe because they thought the Euro looks cool with all those colors.. but probably in an effort to fight counterfeiters, the US treasury has released a new 20 dollar bill. I have seen quite some money changes in the time I've been around.. The old Guilder bills would change every now and then and with the introduction of the Euro, all money changed. Usually, vending machines and other money 'eating' machinery would be converted and made compatible in time before the change. |
