Week Ten College Football Notes (Oct 26 2003 23:50 GMT) - Week Ten College Football Notes: Alabama blew it once again because they couldn't get going early. Tennessee gave them chance after chance in the first quarter, and all Bama could get out of it was a field goal. They could have put this game away early, but they let the Vols hang around. Things don't look too good for Alabama until Shula can figure out the first quarter. |

Ups and Downs (Oct 26 2003 23:50 GMT) - Does not the home page of this site "ask the braindeads to stay outside?" I do not intend on being a hypocrite when I say this, but I have always tried my best to make intelligent and constructive posts. Although it is true I have only been a member since May, I see more and more newcomers who put things like how cute they are in their profile (get my drift). I find this almost offensive, althou ... |

Yeah, it gets really hot... but it's a dry heat. (Oct 26 2003 23:48 GMT) - Hm. Looks like Southern California is burning to the ground. It's sad that people are dying, but I admit that I have mixed feelings about it.Maybe people shouldn't plunder nature in order to divert water and power hundreds of miles away from where it belongs. Maybe if more effort was spent on trying to find ways to coexist with nature rather than conquer it. |

In honor of Halloween.... (Oct 26 2003 23:47 GMT) - You're a practical person, always seeking a logical solution to the afterlife's little problems. Whilst essentially an academic and pragmatist, you have a tendency to let yourself be pre-occupied with misplaced romantic thoughts and a dogged desire for tranquility. Take the Dark Shadows Character Quiz, hosted by the Dark Shadows Journal Online. |
